Voicemail - Setup & Configuration

Getting your voicemail up, working and customized is a snap. Follow these easy instructions to get setup and working quickly!

  1. Dial in to the voicemail system using your VoIP phone
    •  Press the "Messages," "Voicemail," or similar button on your handset
    •  Or, dial *95
  2. Enter your voicemail password/PIN code at the prompt.
  3. Press 0 for mailbox options, to set things up!
  4. Then, choose from the following options:
  • Press 1 to change your Unavailable Message.
    • Your unavailable message is played when your phone rings but you do not answer it, or if your phone is set to Do Not Disturb.
    • Example: "Hi, you have reached <your name> with <your company>. I'm not available to take your call; please leave a message after the tone and I will get back to you!"

  • Press 2 to change your Busy Message
    • Your Busy Message is played when you are currently on the phone and you do not answer or reject a call.
    • Example: "Hi, you have reached <your name> with <your company>, but I am currently on the other line. Please leave a message and I will contact you back."

  • Press 3 to update your name
    • If you do not record an Unavailable or Busy Message, and it would play one of those, it will instead play your recorded name.

  • Press 4 to modify your temporary greeting.
    • You can put a temporary greeting in place in the case that you are on vacation or a similar short-term away scenario. This is played instead of your Unavailable message.

  • Press 5 to change your voicemail password or PIN.
